1 day tour – Stirling, Trossach and Loch Katrine

Enjoy amazing history, dreamlike countryside and majestic castles steeped in legends. The perfect tour to show you the beauty of this magnificent country.
Itinerary
Heading to the north of Scotland we start the day by heading to Bannockburn and the battlefield where Robert the Bruce gained independence for Scotland.
Reaching the city of Stirling we head to Stirling castle to visit either the castle or town depending on customer wishes.
We continue to Stirling Bridge over the River Forth and the national monument to William Wallace.
We then head on to the famous Trossachs national park and the small village of Aberfoyle where we will learn some interesting stories. At lunch we will encanting landscapes through the Duke pass. We head into the heart of the Trossachs to reach Loch Katrine which has an incredible history and where we can enjoy a boat ride (only in summer) or hire a bicycle or simply go for a walk along the lakeshore.
We then visit Deanston Distillery where we will have a guided tour to learn about the history of Scottish whisky.
Crossing Doune we return to Edinburgh and finish the day
