1 day tour – St Andrews, coast of Fife and Dunfermline

St Andrews the birth place of golf, history, abbeys, palaces, beautiful beaches and delightful little villages for you to discover. A different Scotland full of secrets.

Itinerary

We start this magnificent day by heading towards Queensferry where we admire the famous Forth Bridge. Our first stop is Dunfermline Abbey and the ruins of Dunfermline palace.

We continue northwards to the village of Anstruther where we can visit the Scottish museum of fishing.

We then head towards St Andrews birthplace of golf where we will lunch and visit the ruins of the cathedral or castle of St Andrews and its university, the Royal and Ancient golf club of St Andrews and the old course and beach of St Andrews. From St Andrews we cross the Tay Bridge in Dundee before returning to Edinburgh.
