Travel Plan

Day 1- Madrid- Edinburgh

Arrival and collection of your rental car and transfer on your own to the capital of Scotland and your accommodation (category selected by client).

Day 2: Edinburgh

After a delicious Scottish breakfast you can visit the most famous and important places in the magnificent and fascinating city of Edinburgh, starting with the famous and incredible Edinburgh Castle Once you have completed your visit to this magnificent city and as recommended if you have time a drive to the magnificent Highlands you can pass by and visit the city of Stirling and its beautiful castle. Continue on to the national parks of the South “The Trossach” with its incredible and unforgettable landscapes”. Arrive to the Highlands, accommodation..

Day 3: Highlands

After breakfast collect your rental care and as recommended head towards Inverness the capital of the Highlands. After visiting this magnificent city head towards Loch Ness to enjoy the marvellous lake and its monster and the ruins of Urquhart Castle, once you have finished your visit you can return to the lodge, not before visiting some of the most famous whisky distilleries like Glenmoragie, Blabair or Glen Ord. Stay at the accommodation

Day 4: Highlands

After a good breakfast you have the option of heading towards the Isle of Skye, not before of course visiting the famous and magnificent Eilean Donan Castle, once you have finished this incredible trip you can head towards the city of Portree, a small town very close to the castle. Do not forget to visit Trotternish, the Storr and its needle the Old Man of Storr, the cliff and waterfall of Kilt Rock, The Quiraing, the ruins of Duntulum castle, the castle of Dunveggan where you can see colonies of seals. Afterwards return to your accommodation.

Day 5: Highlands

Another day to enjoy Scotland. After breakfast head towards Dunrobin castle. Once finished head towards Culloden and the cairns, . Do not forget to visit Dornoch, Tain, Dingwall and other towns where you can see and enjoy magnificent scenery and interesting monuments and if you have time before returning to the lodge have dinner in the magnificent Dornoch Castle or another restaurant in the town. The restaurants are fantastic. Return to your accommodation.

Day 6: Highlands

Today is the perfect day to visit the Orkney Isles don’t you think? So after breakfast head north to the port of Scrabster to take the ferry to these magnificent Isles. Do not forget to visit the Castle of Mey in Thurso, Caithness, the holiday home of the Queen Mother and where you can enjoy incredible views of Orkney on the way. Once on Orkney do not forget to visit the Ring of Brodgar, The Old Man of Hoy, The Standing Stones of Stenness and many other interesting places on the isles. (Do not forget to remember the return time of the ferry). Return to your accommodation

Day 7: Highlands

Today we propose a day of excursions along the north coast including John OGroats, Duncansby Head, Dunnet Head, Tounge, Durness and Cape Wrath. Return to your accommodation

Day 8: Highlands

Today is the perfect day to relax and go shopping in Inverness where you will be able to find all that you need or you could head towards the West coast and Ullapool, Lochinver, Handa Island etc. Return to your accommodation.

Day 9: Edinburgh-Madrid

Today we return to Spain and after breakfast you head towards Edinburgh to return your vehicle and take your flight. Remember that you have to be at the airport 2 hours before your departure in order to check in luggage etc.
